A new format to look beyond patterns and shape possible futures

On 26 September, the fourth illimity talk at the Il Verde e il Blu Festival - three days of meetings and talk shows to foreground the best green, sustainable and digital solutions for the future of our planet.

Laurence Tubiana is the CEO of the European Climate Foundation and one of the leading advocates of the COP21 Paris Agreement on climate change, and she will be speaking to Corrado Passera, CEO of illimity, about the complex issue of change and sustainable development.

The discussion will encompass ideas ranging from the new forms of responsible behaviour that institutions, companies and people must adopt because of climate change to the management of the complex systems that characterise the contemporary era.

Other themes will be governance policies, the need for companies to turn profits and the increasingly demanding nature of new generations and modern consumers. How can such aspects be combined to ensure sustainable, responsible growth? What lessons have we learnt? What role does leadership play when a changing business environment necessitates a new vision?
