The proper recipe to start your business

Why do younger generations
dream to create their own business?
What questions should you ask
yourself before launching your project?
What is the proper mix of ingredients
for a successful business?

Starting a business is a girl’s game.
It takes determination, commitment and courage. The qualities of a modern heroine that, at only four years old, Giada Zhang recognized in Mulan: the warrior princess fighting against gender stereotypes. A story of resilience that unites the name of the cartoon and the company Giada is leading: the Mulan Group, which produces Chinese dishes for major supermarket chains in Italy and abroad.

Born in Cremona from a Chinese family, since elementary school Giada had to work twice as hard as her peers to fit into an environment where she was considered different, not yet aware that the Italian-Chinese mix would have been the secret ingredient of her professional success. Graduated with honors in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Milan, she speaks five languages and has gained significant work experiences abroad in the finance sector.

At illimitHER, we will talk with Giada about the key ingredients of starting a new entrepreneurial project, juggling financial and personal risks. We will try to understand if, at the end of the day, there really is an authentic recipe for creating a successful business and also how to turn any kind of diversity into an invaluable source of inspiration.

Quotes

I am pleased of being able to help young people who want to do business, because I have experienced firsthand their difficulties and doubts. My advice is to ask themselves why they want to become entrepreneurs: if they have the answer, they will be able to realize their dream.
